Yesterday members of the Round Lake Fire Department participated in the Village Memorial Day ceremony to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

At 9:17 am Round Lake and Malta Ridge were dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on East Line Road involving a pick up truck.

A group of local residents led by Maggy White put together a recognition dinner for the FD members at their monthly meeting. She and many others fed over 40 fire fighters a wonderful Italian style meal complete with too many desserts.

A busy night for the Round Lake Fire Department. At 3:12 am the department was dispatched for a FAST assignment for a fire in the Jonesville district off of Clifton Country road. On the way back from the call R548 was re-directed to a carbon monoxide detector activation for Jonesville off of Long Kill Road.

This morning the Round Lake Fire Department was dispatched to a rollover accident on Knapp Road. This was the fifth call for the department in a little more than 12 hours.

Yesterday at 5:33pm Round Lake responded to a reported brush fire in the location of Luthers Forest Blvd. & Rocket Way.  After 2 hours & hard work, the crew can still muster a smile.

Last Tuesday members of the Round Lake Fire Department conducted training with our Argo amphibious ATV.

At 9:12 last evening the Round Lake Fire Department was dispatched to reported structure fire in the Country Knolls development.

Today is the open house at the Shared Station in Parade Ground Village. The Saratoga County Sheriffs office is on site for the drug take back program.
